To navigate to the Commodities tab, do the following:

click Integration > Smart 3D > Smart 3D Import.

Select a configuration by clicking

Select a Staging Area from the Staging Area drop-down.

Select a required Import Type.

If you select the Catalog driven radio button, then click the Codelists tab.

If you select Specification driven radio box, do the following:

Click Edit grid

Select the specifications you want to import by selecting the Select for Import check-box corresponding to each specification.

Click Save grid
.

Click Read-Only Grid
.

Click the Commodities tab.

If you have selected Specification driven import, then you have to select the specifications you can only view the commodity codes, valve operator sheets, or data tables related to the specifications you have selected for specification driven import in the Setup Configuration.

After importing the Smart 3D data to the staging area, you can perform the following functions in the Commodities tab.

You can map the Smart 3D Commodity Codes to the matching SRD Commodity Codes.

You can automatically map the Smart3D commodity code to Smart Reference Data commodity code using the AutoMap button. You can perform automap based on two criteria:

Using commodity Rule code
-
Using Short description/Description
-

You can generate data table mappings for commodity codes using the Generate button.

You can map the Smart 3D Valve Operators node to the matching SRD Templates node.

You can also import the already mapped Valve Operators using the Import button.
