  1. To open the Smart 3D transfer job screen, click Integration > Smart 3D > Smart 3D Transfer Jobs .

  2. Click the Transfer Jobs tab to view or run existing transfer Jobs or create new ones.

To understand how the transfer job is defined, see Smart 3D Job Definition.

    Smart 3D Job Definition

    1. Interface: This field always shows Smart 3D.

    2. Job: Name of the job.

    3. Run Number: Current Run Number assigned to the job.

    4. Export Mode: This should match the Bulkload mode of Smart 3D. Typically it is Add, Modify, and Delete.

    5. Job Goal: The last step up to which you want to the run the Job. It can have the following values:

      • Prepare to Fill Tables: Based on the Transfer Types and General Configs, the Data Tables tab is updated and based on the entries in the Specification Items, CMS Idents and Idents, the CMS Idents tab and Idents tab are updated.

      • Fill Interface Tables: The data is retrieved and stored in the Staging Tables. SRD only exports the delta, i.e. the difference between the current content and content previously preserved in the Destination.

      • Verify Consistency: The verification reports are run against the currently exported data and the data previously preserved in the Destination.

      • Write to file: The data stored in the Staging Tables is written to a Workbook.

      • Bulkload: If the Destination is set to use API Load (direct load) then in this stage the exported data is bulkloaded into the Smart 3D catalog. If API load is not set then the file should be sent to Smart 3D Administrator for loading into an SDB compatible catalog.

    6. Analyze Bulkload Log: If the Destination is set to use API Load (direct load) then this loads the bulkload log into the current job so users can view the Smart 3D updates in SRD. Alternatively, via the General Config settings, users could load the bulkload log file manually.

    7. Verify Smart 3D: If the Destination is set to use API Load (direct load) then in this stage the Verify Consistency is automatically run in the Smart 3D catalog.

    8. Import GUIDs: If the Destination is set to use API Load (direct load) then in this stage the GUIDs are imported from S3D. Alternatively, via the General Config settings, customers could load the GUID file manually.

    9. Complete Job: In this stage the contents of the data in the staging tables are preserved into the Destination so that subsequent exports generate deltas.

      Notes:

      • Every Run must either be Completed or Cancelled. You cannot run more than one job at a time for a destination, so once a job is started another job cannot be run till the current job is Completed or Cancelled.

      • Typically, if the file is loaded into the Smart 3D catalog the Run must be Completed otherwise it must be Cancelled.

    10. General Config: This will be used while exporting the data.

    11. Transfer Type: This will be used to select the sheets exported.

    12. Destination: This is in where the data is preserved if the job is completed.

    13. Transfer to Production: This indicates if the current run is to the Test destination or a transfer of data previously exported to the Test destination into the Production destination.

    14. Statistics fields: Provides the current state of the job.

    15. Item Mapping: This will be used while exporting the data.

    16. Template: This will be used while exporting the data.

    17. Data Table Configuration: This will be used while exporting the data.

    18. Verification Set: that will be run after the data is exported and before it is written to the workbook.
