In this section, we will learn how to define bolt and gasket data to an existing piping specification.
Create Gasket Records

Open Spec Editor; double-click the specification CC150-1 from the tree view.

Click the Components tab.

Add the commodity code for gasket in the specification items as shown below.

Commodity Code: GNMAB7DFFAAAA1KZ
Attach geometric P_BI_GSK_1.6_MM to the gasket spec item.

Save the changes and lock the grid

Go to Integration > Smart3D > Smart3D Configuration, go to Templates tab, and expand TRAINING_TEMPLATE.

Select the GasketSelectionFilter worksheet. Right-click and select the option “Fill Spec Rule”.

In the Fill Spec Rule Data table, select the ItemMapping as TRAINING_ITEM_MAPPING and select the spec CC150-1.

Click FillSpecRule button.
Records are generated automatically.
Create Bolt Records

Open Spec Editor, click the Components tab and add the commodity code for bolt in the specification items as shown below.

Commodity Code: LS1AZZAX4AAHZ
Attach geometric P_BI_BOLTS_LEN_MM to the bolt spec item.

Save the changes and lock the grid.

Go to the Integration > Smart3D > Smart3D Configuration, go to Templates tab, expand TRAINING_TEMPLATE and select the BoltSelectionFilter worksheet.

Right-click and select the option Fill Spec Rule.

In the Fill Spec Rule data table, select the Item Mapping as TRAINING_ITEM_MAPPING and select the specification CC150-1.

Click FillSpecRule button.

Records are generated automatically for the BoltSelectionFilter sheet as shown below:

Go to Integration > Smart3D > Smart3D Transfer Jobs.

Create a New Run of the export job CC150-1 and Start the job.

When the job processing is done, open the log files from the Log Files tab and review the log file for any errors or warnings.
