Export of Spec from SRD

  1. To export the spec from SRD, navigate to Integration > Smart 3D > Smart 3D Transfer Jobs.

  2. Click Add Add icon button to create a new job and specify the job name and details as shown below.

    • Job: CC-150

    • Job Comments: S3D Export

    • Job Goal: Complete Job

    • General Config: SDB_CONFIG

    • Transfer Type: TRAINING_PIPING_SPEC

    • Destination: SDB_SP3D_DEST

    • Item Mapping: TRAINING_ITEM_MAPPING

    • Template: TRAINING_TEMPLATE

    • Data table config: TRAINING_SHT_CONFIG

    • Verification Set: VSet1

    • General Config: Consists of a set of parameters that must be set to control the behavior of the reference data transfer to Smart 3D.

    • Transfer Type: Pre-defined sets of sheets that are exported to Smart 3D. The setup of transfer types allows the definition of multiple sets of sheets for different purposes such as codelists, generic sheets, or catalog data sheets

    • Item mapping: Pre-defined and named set of relations between:

      • Sheets and assigned groups/parts/commodity codes/idents

      • Sheet attributes and those values that should appear on distinct parts/commodity codes/idents or specs/spec items

    • Template: Named set of sheets that can be used by the transfer procedure to fill the data sheets by simply copying the data from the template. These sheets must be configured with the retrieval method TEMPLATE_COPY.

    • Data table config: Data table configs or Sheet configs are pre-defined sets of sheet configurations with attribute mappings and retrieval methods. With the retrieval method, you can define how the sheet, or the sheet column is populated with data. You may need multiple sheet configs when working with different versions of Smart 3D.

    • Destination: Smart Reference Data can be used to serve multiple Smart 3D catalog databases. To keep track of what was transferred to which Smart 3D instance, and to enable incremental (delta) transfers, each transfer job is assigned to a particular destination. These destinations represent the Smart 3D catalog databases with their specific connection information, like the catalog server, catalog schema server, catalog database, and the catalog schema database.
