All necessary dimensions of a component are stored in geometric tables. These tables are defined and maintained on different screens, depending on the purpose of the table. Only geometrics that are linked with the commodity code can be used to provide a basis for building idents.

  1. Click SRD > Component Manager > Geometric Management.

  2. Select Geom Types/ Geom Names from the list in the Data Explorer.

  3. Right-click Commodity Geometrics, and select Open Property view.

  4. In the Properties window, type XP_BI_1NPS in the Geometric box.

  5. Select P_BI_1NPS from the TableName LOV LOV and US from the Standard Code LOV LOV.

    Define Table and Table Type

    1. From the Home screen, select Administration > Global Setup > Tables and Properties > Tables.

    2. Click Add Row in the Table Types block.

    3. Select table type from the Type list.

      Table Type specifies the function (which screen use the tables assigned to the type) of the table.

    4. Type the description and then click Save.

    5. Click Add Row in the Tables section, to assign tables to table types.

      Add Row is enabled only when you sign in using a project and not using a product group.

    6. Type the table name XP_BI_1NPS, short description, description, and then click Save.

    Define Table Structures

    1. Select Table Structures and then select a table in the Tables section.

    2. Click Add Row in the Properties section.

    3. Select the property NPS1 from the Property Name list.

    4. Select in from the Units list and then click Save.

  6. Click SaveSave grid icon, and close the dialog box.
