  • Configure Data:

  1. Login to SRD application

  2. Navigate to Integration > PDMS > PDMS Configuration.

  3. To configure data tables, select Data Table Configurations tab and do the following:

    1. Right-click the existing Data Table Configuration and select Duplicate. A duplicate Data Table Configuration is created.

      We are duplicating the configuration to edit some of the standard data.

    2. Right-click the configuration and rename it as PDMS_CONFIG_SHEET.

    3. Double-click PDMS_CONFIG_SHEET.

    4. To add Data Table to the configuration, do the following:

      1. Click Edit grid.

      2. Click Add.

      3. Double-click in the Data Table column and select SPCOM from the LOV.

      4. Modify and the Retrieval Method or Retrieval Source as required.

      5. (Optional) Enter Alternate Name as Specon.

      6. Click Save.

      7. Click Read-only grid.

    5. To add Attributes to the Data Table, do the following:

      1. Double-click the PDMS_CONFIG_SHEET or click the plus sign next to the configuration to expand.

      2. In the PDMS_CONFIG_SHEET, double-click the SPCOM data table.

      3. In the PDMS Data Table Config Attributes grid, click Edit grid.

      4. Click Add.

      5. Double-click the Attribute Name grid and select the following header and body attributes from the LOV.

        - PDMS_Version

        - FLUREF

        - LINETYPE

        - BLTM

        - BSPEC

        - RATI

        - PDMS_DESCRIPTION

      6. Click ADD. The selected list of attributes will be added to the PDMS Data Table Config Attributes grid for the table SPCOM.

      7. (Optional) Modify the Retrieval Method or Retrieval Source as required.

      8. Click Save.

      9. Click Read-only grid.

  4. To add Data Table Mappings, do the following:

    1. Navigate to Data Table Mappings tab.

    2. Right-click the existing PDMS_ITEM_MAPPING configuration and select Duplicate. A new configuration is created.

      We are duplicating the configuration to edit some of the standard data.

    3. Right-click the new configuration and rename it to PDMS_ITEM_MAPS.

    4. Double-click the PDMS_ITEM_MAPS or click the plus sign next to the configuration to expand.

    5. In the PDMS_ITEM_MAPS configuration, do the following:

      1. Click Edit grid

      2. Click Add.

      3. Double-click Data Table and select the SPCOM.

      4. Click Save.

      5. Click Read-only grid.

      6. Double-click the SPCOM data table in the PDMS_ITEM_MAPS.

      7. In the PDMS Data Table Mappings grid, select Edit grid.

      8. Select Add.

      9. Select the following details to add 2 rows respectively.

        - Group: H, L;

        - Part: RE, MB-IN-MM;

        - Commodity Code: HREABGIFFAH9ZZZZ, LMBAZZAAIZZZZ.

      10. Click Save.

      11. Click Read-only grid.

  5. To add Attribute Mappings, do the following:

    1. Navigate to Attribute Mappings tab.

    2. Right-click the existing PDMS_ITEM_MAPPING configuration and select Duplicate. A new configuration is created.

      We are duplicating the configuration to edit some of the standard data.

    3. Right-click the new configuration and rename it to PDMS_ITEM_MAPS.

    4. Double-click the PDMS_ITEM_MAPS.

    5. In the Component Mappings tab, select Edit grid.

    6. Click Add and select the following values:

      1. Attribute: BLIS, BSPEC

      2. Value/Source: STUD

      3. Group: MF, ND

      4. Part: BG, SS2

    7. Click Save.

    8. Click Read-only grid.

  6. To add Templates, do the following:

    1. Select the Templates tab.

    2. Click Add in PDMS Templates.

    3. Enter the Template name as PDMS_TEMPLATE_DEF.

    4. Select the Data Table Configuration as PDMS_CONFIG_SHEET.

    5. Click Save.

    6. Double-click PDMS_TEMPLATE_DEF.

    7. In the PDMS Data Tables, click Edit grid.

    8. Click Add.

    9. Double-click the Data Table column and select SPCOM.

    10. Click Read-only grid.

  7. To add PDMS General Configurations, do the following:

    1. Navigate to Integration > PDMS > PDMS Transfer Jobs > General Configurations.

    2. In the PDMS General Configuration grid, click Add.

    3. Enter the General Configuration name as PDMS_DTLS.

    4. Click Save.

    5. In the PDMS General Configuration Item Value grid, click Edit grid.

    6. Click Add and select the following values:

      1. Item: BORE_UNITS; Value: in

    7. Click Save.

    8. Click Read-only grid.

  • Transfer Data:

  1. Navigate to Integration > PDMS > PDMS Transfer Jobs > Transfer Jobs.

    1. In the PDMS Job Definition grid, click Add and enter/select the following details.

    2. In Job, enter the job name as PDMS_SPCOM.

    3. In Job Goal, select Write-to-file.

    4. In General Config, select PDMS_DTLS.

    5. In Transfer Type, select PDMS_TRANSFER.

    6. In Destination, select PDMS.

    7. In Item Mappings, select PDMS_ITEM_MAPS.

    8. In Template, select PDMS_TMPLATE_DEF.

    9. Click Save. The PDMS Transfer Jobs: Data Tables tab appears.

  2. In the PDMS Transfer Jobs: Data Tables tab, click Edit grid.

  3. Click Add and select the tables listed in the screenshot.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Click Read-only grid.

  6. Navigate to Specifications Items tab.

  7. In the PDMS Transfer Jobs: Specification Items tab, click Edit grid.

  8. Click Add.

  9. Double-click the Spec Code and select 1CA1S01.

  10. Click Read-only grid.

  11. In the PDMS Job Definition, click Start Job. The status of the job is shown as the following screenshot.

  • View Output Files/Data:

    Method: 1

  1. In the Transfer Jobs tab, navigate to Transfer Files tab. You can view the generated Data, Delete, Error, and Excel files. You can double-click any files to view the details in it.

  2. Double-click the C:\Download\PDMS_EJ_00000007784_insert_SPCOM.spec file to view the output. The data is displayed in the Notepad file format.

  3. Navigate to Transfer Job Results.

  4. Select SPCOM data table. The results will be displayed in the Job Results grid.

  • Export files to PDMS:

  1. To export the SPCOM file to PDMS interface, do the following:

    1. In the PDMS Job Definitions grid, for Job Goal, select the Complete Job option.

    2. Click Start Job and wait for the job to complete.

  • View exported in data Destinations tab:

    Since PDMS is an external interface, you, as a Smart Reference Data user may not be able to login to PDMS to verify what information has been exported. However, you can verify the exported information under Destinations in the Smart Reference Data application itself.

  1. Navigate to Destinations tab to view the data that is transferred to the PDMS interface.

  2. In the PDMS Destinations grid, click Select Destination

  3. Select PDMS as destination. PDMS Catalog will appear.

  4. In the PDMS Catalog, search and double-click SPCOM data table. The data that is transferred to PDMS will be displayed.
