A procedure specifies user-defined logic that can be called at different stages of a CADWorx transfer job. The procedures are attached to data tables, which are attached to their respective data table configurations.

You can add procedures to a data table only if the Standard indicator of the corresponding Data Table Configuration is set to No.

Add a Procedure

  1. Click Integration > CADWorx > CADWorx Configurations and then click the Data Table Configurations tab.

  2. Double-click a data table to view the details.

  3. On the Attached Procedures tab, click Edit Grid to unlock the edit options.

  4. Click Add Row in the grid on the right.

    When you enter a new procedure, a window opens for you to enter and save the procedure information to the existing database.

  5. In the Procedure box, click Selection list LOV to select a CADWorx procedure.

  6. Click Save Grid and then click Read-Only Grid to set the grid back to read-only mode.

Edit a procedure

  1. Click Integration > CADWorx > CADWorx Configurations and select Data Table Configurations tab.

  2. Double-click a data table to view the details in the grid on the right.

  3. On the Attached Procedures tab, click Edit Grid to unlock the edit options.

  4. In the Procedure box, click Selection list LOV to select a CADWorx procedure.

  5. In the CADWorx Procedures window, click Edit Grid to unlock the edit options.

  6. Double-click a procedure to make changes.

  7. Click Save Grid and then click Read-Only Grid to set the grid back to read-only mode.

Delete a procedure

  1. Click Integration > CADWorx > CADWorx Configurations and select Data Table Configurations tab.

  2. Double-click a data table to view the details in the grid on the right.

  3. On the Attached Procedures tab, click Edit Grid , to unlock the edit options.

  4. In the Procedure box, click Selection list LOV to select a CADWorx procedure.

  5. In the CADWorx Procedures window, click Edit Grid to unlock the edit options.

  6. Right-click an existing procedure and click Delete.

    SHARED Tip Alternatively, select a procedure and press DELETE.

  7. Click Save Grid and then click Read-Only Grid to set the grid back to read-only mode.
