You can configure the settings, integrate the Plant Design Management System (PDMS) data in to Smart Reference Data (SRD) Plus, and then transfer the required information to PDMS interface. Data can be transferred to PDMS in two steps as follows:

Ident transfer

Specification transfer
If the ident files are already available in PDMS interface, you need not transfer them again. Some steps are the same for both kind of transfers, while some are only for one type of transfer.
The transfer generates a set of ASCII files that can be separated into one file for the specifications (SPECON File ) and a set of files for the ident transfer.
Idents can be exported to the PDMS software using specific file formats. We have the following three main file formats:

Data: It contains all the ident related information that are exported.

Delete: It contains information related to the data deleted from the destination.

Error: It contains information related to the error in the exported data.
When you export, the ident information is stored in more than one file such as:

Detail Text (PDMS_D.DAT) : Contains descriptions about all the idents

Component Data (PDMS_C.DAT): Contains all ident weight related data
-
Flange-Bolt-Points (PDMS_F.DAT): Contains information for each of the bolt idents for each of the bolted components in the PDMS_G.DAT file

Single-Bolt-Idents (PDMS_BS.DAT): Contains information about bolt idents

Geometric data file (PDMS_G.DAT) : Contains all the geometric information

Bolt Length (PDMS_B.DAT) : Contains the length information of the bolt idents

Material (PDMS_M.DAT) Contains all material description for the idents
The specification file is generated based on the configurations made in the Data Table Configurations page in SRD Plus.
All nodes at all level are unique in PDMS. The uniqueness is not defined at tree
node level but across all tree path and nodes.
