  1. For each client, open a browser window, and go to the following URL:

    http://<your_servername:your_IIS_port>/SmartReferenceData/SrdClient/Deploy.html

  2. Click Install.

    If you have a previous version of the client installed, you are prompted to uninstall the existing version. Only after uninstalling you can proceed with the client installation.

  3. Click OK after the installation is complete.

  4. Click Connection > Login Parameters to set the correct parameters.

  5. Enter the login parameters as follows:

    Address: https://<your_hostname:your_IIS_port>/SmartReferenceData/SRDService/Service.asmx

    For host name, see Configure the SSL Certificate for SRD Service.

SHARED Tip After installation, the software is located on the Start menu and also on the Desktop.
