On the S.20.03 Parts with Tabledetails screen, you can define filter conditions in order to generate more specific commodity codes and to prevent from creating meaningless and needless commodity codes. With the filters defined on S.20.03 and S.20.04 you can only use the matching table details to generate commodity codes for the selected part. For example, when creating commodity code for Pipe, materials for seals and screws would not make sense and thus are filtered out and not available for selection to build a commodity code. This ensures that only meaningful commodity codes can be generated.
To define such a filter do the following:
Select a commodity group and then a commodity part.
Assign a table name.
Assign a table group.
When now creating a commodity code for this commodity part, you could only select table details belonging to the specified table group of the selected table.
