  • The software processes only the commodity codes which are of type ‘Table Detail Based’. Specification items having commodity codes other than ‘Table Detail Based’ assigned will not have commodity codes in the target project.

  • The Missing Table Details tab is visible only when the source project is a proposal project.

  • If the source project is a proposal project, then prior to initiating the copy process, required data must be completed on the Missing Table Details and Mapping Table Details tabs to continue.

  • On the Missing Table Details tab, it is mandatory to specify the table details for required tables. You can skip providing table details for non-required tables.

  • On the Mapping Table Details tab, it is optional to specify the mapping table details. This means, if the mapping for a proposal project table detail is not specified, the corresponding table detail is created in the destination project.

  • The main purpose of copying specifications is to transform the newly created CCCs into SCCs while copying them into the EPCP, or refer to existing commodity codes from the SPG. While copying the CCCs to EPCP, the SPG commodity rule/keys are considered. The CCC in the proposal project remains untouched.

  • If the corresponding commodity code cannot be copied while copying a specification item in an EPCP, the specification item would have an empty (NULL) commodity id in the destination project. For this reason, before starting the copy process, you will be asked if the specification items with empty commodity id should be copied.
