Sometimes it may be required to define and work with commodity codes by defining only a sub-set of all property tables that are required for a proposal. Such commodity codes, which are used during proposals and have fewer properties than a standard commodity code (SCC), are called concept commodity codes (CCC). CCCs are always table detail based commodity codes.
It may also be required to have additional tables in the rule which are applicable for a proposal project only. Adding these new tables will change the commodity rule. Later when transferring the commodity codes, these new tables are ignored.
In a proposal project, the commodity rule is not modifiable. Only in a standard product group the commodity rule is modifiable. For all proposal projects based on a standard product group, the same CCC key composition and CCC layout are used.
