Introduction
The idea behind concept commodity codes is to ease the usage of Smart Reference Data for proposals, small projects, and feed. Presently, the commodity codes are detailed, and it may take some time to prepare them in Smart Reference Data. Unlike present detailed commodity codes, the software will allow creating commodity codes with fewer details. Such commodity codes with fewer details are called concept commodity codes (CCCs). These CCCs can be reused later, when you can convert them into detailed commodity codes when the project is awarded.
In Smart Reference Data, proposals or small projects can be defined as Proposal Projects and then within the same project, concept commodity codes can be created. Later, once the project is awarded, a normal project can be created, and all these concept commodity codes can be transferred to the normal project for further use.
