Idents can be added to a leaf class when the current date is within the date range defined for the class. There is also a provision to insert idents into a class for which the current date is outside the date range defined. The privilege OVERRIDE_CLASS_INS_RESTRICTION must be added to the role.
Once this privilege is added to the role, the New Row button is enabled in the Multi Ident View. Here you can insert new idents and property values and save them.
When the New Row button is clicked, all the other buttons also become enabled in order for you to edit the grid. Click Save to save the new idents.
If you click the Read-Only button without saving the changes, all the changes are canceled.
