In the Source Spec tab, you must select the specification(s) from which you want the data to be copied to the target. You can copy data from more than one source specifications.

You can save the search criteria so that you can use it any time later. The list of saved search criteria is available in the Search drop-down. In the following image, NEW is the saved search criteria.

  • Procedure for Source Spec tab

  1. Click and select a Source Project.

    • You can select multiple source projects.

    • Press the Delete button on keyboard to delete a selected source project.

  2. Select the following search options as required to refine the search results:

    • Revision Options

      • Highest Revision - Displays all specs of the highest revision whether the spec is issued. This is the default option.

      • Highest Revision Not Issued - Displays all specs that are of the highest revision, and the spec is not issued.

      • All - Displays all specs.

    • Spec Type - Unique name for the specification type.

    • Spec Code - Unique specification codes from the Specification Management screen.

    • Description - Description of the specification.

    • Specification Tables -Name of the specification table that you want to search a spec.

    • Specification Attributes - Specification attributes are based on specification type. First, select a Spec Type, and then enter an attribute and its corresponding value that you want to search.

    You can save the search criteria. After you select the search criteria, enter the criteria name in the Search drop-down box and click Save icon.

  3. Click Search. The search results are displayed on the right side.

  4. Select specification(s) from the search results.

  5. Click Next to navigate to the Copy Scope tab.
