  1. Log on to Smart Materials, and click Administration.

  2. Under GLOBAL SETUP, click Project Defaults.

  3. On the SRD tab, set the ZS_ADD_CCB parameter.

    • A - The software generates all commodity codes.

    • C - The software generates the company commodity codes.

    • I - The software generates the interface commodity codes.

    • N - No additional commodity codes will be built.

  4. Set the ZS_CC_COF parameter.

    • Y - All possible codes that do not need user interaction automatically build in the software.

    • N - All possible codes that do not need user interaction do NOT automatically build in the software. These codes appear on the Coding on the fly selection dialog box.

  5. Set the ZS_SI_MOD parameter.

    • Y - The user will be able to modify the spec items automatically generated by the software.

    • N - The user will not be able to modify the spec items automatically generated by the software.
