You can manage attribute set details using the Attributes Set Details grid.

  1. Click SRD > Component Manager > Attribute Management.

  2. Select Attribute Sets from the list at the top of the tree view.

  3. Double-click an attribute set in the tree view to open the Attribute Set Details grid.

  4. Click Edit Grid EditGrid.

  5. Click Add Row PropertiesNew.

  6. Select an attribute name from the Selection list LOV in the Attribute Name cell.

    SHARED Tip To display attributes belonging to a specific group in the Attribute Name cell, select the attribute group from the Selection list LOV in the Attribute Group cell.

  7. Type a value in the No of Digits, Sequence/Digit From, and Digit To cells respectively.

  8. Click Save Grid SaveGrid.

In the Attribute Set Details grid, you can either double-click an Attribute Name or right-click an Attribute Name and select Show Attribute to highlight the selected attribute in the Explorer View of Attribute Management.

Attributes Set Details Grid

No Of Digits - Displays the no. of characters of an attribute used in attribute based commodity codes.

Sequence/Digit From - Represents the sequence of characters of an attribute used in attribute based commodity codes.

Digit To - Represents the last character of an attribute in an attribute based commodity code.

Attribute Group - Represents the attribute group.

Attribute Name - Represents the name of an attribute.

Default Value - Displays the default attribute value used in attribute based commodity codes.

ER (SPMAT Usage) - Indicates if the attribute value is displayed for the Engineering Requisition level or not. It is set to 'Y' by default.

ER Upd (SPMAT Usage) - Indicates if the user is allowed to update the attribute value for Engineering or not. It is set to 'Y' by default.

Inq (SPMAT Usage) - Represents the attribute value displayed for Inquiries. It is set to 'Y' by default.

Inq Upd (SPMAT Usage) - Indicates if the user is allowed to update the attribute values for Inquiries or not. It is set to 'Y' by default.

PO (SPMAT Usage) - Represents the attribute value displayed for Purchase Orders. It is set to 'Y' by default.

PO Upd (SPMAT Usage) - Indicates if the user is allowed to update the attribute value for Purchase Orders or not. It is set to 'Y' by default.

Exp (SPMAT Usage) - Represents the attribute value displayed for Expediting. It is set to 'Y' by default.

Exp Upd (SPMAT Usage) - Indicates if the user is allowed to update the attribute value for Expediting or not. It is set to 'Y' by default.

Level (SPMAT Usage) - Represents the level for which the attribute values are assigned to Engineering, Requisitions, and Inquiries respectively. If the level is set to 'Header', the attribute values are assigned to parent but not to child objects. If the level is set to 'Detail', the attributes values are assigned to child objects but not to parent object. If the level is set to 'Header and Detail' the attribute values are assigned to both parent and child objects.

Active (SPMAT Usage) - Indicates if the attribute is active for creating attribute based commodity codes or not. It is set to 'Y' by default.to be passed or not.

Source Column (SPI Usage) - Represents the Physical in Tools column where the attribute values are defined.

Source Table (SPI Usage) - Represents the Physical in Tools object where the attribute value are defined.

Join Column - Joins the two tables on the basis of common column.

Color: The color you select for an attribute in Attribute Set Details grid is applied as background color to all columns of the attribute in Attribute Based Commodity Codes grid.
