  7. Click Save grid SaveGrid.

  8. Click Read-only grid ReadOnly.

Enter geometric rule definitions

You need to select a geometric rule in the Geometric Rules grid for viewing and editing the geometric rule definitions.

  1. Select the record you just added in the top grid.

  2. In the Geometric Rule Definitions grid, click Edit grid EditGrid.

  3. Click Add row PropertiesNew. Add as many rows as you need.

  4. For each row, enter a group and geometric.

  5. Optionally, provide a part and commodity code to restrict the relations to a particular part or commodity code.

  6. Optionally, type or select values in the From Size and To Size boxes to restrict the geometric relations to the specified range.

  7. Click Save grid SaveGrid.

  8. Click Read-only grid ReadOnly.

  • The Ident indicator specifies whether this geometric is used when creating idents.

  • You can click Commodity Relation to create commodity geometric relationships. If the Ident box is selected, the software checks the consistency of the geometric with the object parameter before building the relationships. Creating these relationships is usually done after defining the details in the lowest grid.

Enter geometric rule definition details

You need to select a geometric rule definition in the Geometric Rule Definitions grid for viewing and editing the geometric rule definition details.

  1. Select a rule definition in the second grid.

  2. In the Geometric Rule Definition Details grid, click Edit grid EditGrid.

  3. Click Add row PropertiesNew. Add as many rows as you need.

  4. For each row, enter a table name, a table group, and (optionally) a table detail.

These properties filter the commodity codes for the commodity geometric relations.

  5. Click Save grid SaveGrid.

  6. Click Read-only grid ReadOnly.
