When you save the details entered in the filtering setup grids, the software creates the appropriate table detail links on the Table Details screen.

Project Setup

  1. Click SRD > XS20 Spec > XS2010 Project Setup.

  2. Under Filter Group Labelling, assign a master table for a filter group..

  3. Under Filter Setup, assign tables to that filter group/area, and select the Table Detail Link Ind check box for some of the tables.

Specification

  1. Click SRD > XS20 Spec > XS2020 Spec Editor.

  2. In a specification, on the Cover page, enter details in the filter group/area and tables that you worked with in the Project Setup procedure above.

  3. Save the specification.

The software creates the table detail link on the Table Details screen.

The table name is from the table associated with the filter group/area. The group name is ALL1 by default.

  • When you update the details for the tables in a specification, the software creates a new set of table detail links.

  • When you delete a row from the specification filter default, it has no impact on the existing table detail links.

  • When you clear the Table Detail Link indicator for a table, the software deletes the details for that table on the Table Details screen.

  • When you change the master table name for a filter group on the Project Setup dialog box > Filter Group Labelling, there is no change to existing table details and links if they already exist for the former table name.

  • Updating the table name for a filter group/area on the Project Setup dialog box > Filter Setup is not possible if table details already exist for that table.
