Update product group geometric in a project - Intergraph Smart Reference Data - Help - Hexagon

You can modify a product group geometric in a project. When you modify the geometric, the software creates a new child record in the project.

You can use the Display drop-down on the Geometric grid toolbar to control whether you see the parent product group and/or the child record in the grid.

The ZS_GD_MOD project default must be set to Y in order to use this Display functionality.

1. Log in to a project.

2. Click SRD > XS10 Component Manager > XS1020 Geometric Management.

3. Select Geom Types/Geom Names from the list.

4. Double-click a product group geometric table.

   The default display option is Actual. You can see the product group geometric detail in the grid.

5. Click Edit grid .

6. Modify the output parameters of the geometric detail. The software creates a new child record in the project with the same input parameters and the modified output parameters.

7. Click Save grid .

8. Click Read-only grid to set the grid back to read-only mode. The software displays only the child record in the grid.

If you select All, Smart Reference Data displays parent and child records.
