This procedure describes how to reject a part before it is packed.
To reject a part in a completed package, you must activate that package.

Select one or more rows under Order Items.
The selection highlights.

Select one or more rows under Items (Order Items).
The Reject button is unavailable until you select at least one row under Items (Order Items).

Click Reject.
The Reject Item page displays.

Specify the item to reject, and then specify the quantity of that item to reject.

Perform the following steps for each item to reject:

Select the Location.

If necessary, type Rejection Text, and then type any additional comments in the Info text box.
Depending on your configuration, the Rejection Text box might not be available. For more information, see Intergraph Smart Production System Settings.

Optional: Select a Group.

Select the Status Change.

Click Reject.
The software adds the rejected item to the Work Queue under Maintain > Rejections. The item is either returned for nesting or approval, depending on how rejections are configured in the System Settings application.
