If the parameter NWSPickingUseStockItemSelection is set as Always, stock item selection is available on the bottom side of the page. The Available material and Selected material can be viewed for one pick list item row at a time.

The Available Material list displays the items in stock that match the selected pick list item material. The software only displays full stock plates. If the nesting is done on a stock item (stock material or a remnant), the material selected for the work displays in the Selected Material list.

If the nesting is done on a stock item (remnant or a stock material), that named item is picked. If the nesting is done on an article, you must select an individual stock material by using stock item selection lists.

Picking by selecting stock items

You can select and change full plate items by using the arrows in the middle. Make sure that the changed plate item matches the dimensions of the original material. If the stock plates are in a pile, you can change the selected amount before moving plates to Selected Material. The upper list displays the number of material items that are still required.

If the nesting is done to a remnant, you cannot change the material.
