This feature is used when the Shift Pattern has been created already. If the shift pattern is not existed then go to paragraph Shift Pattern.
Fill Calendar
Select a shift calendar which is needed to fill according to Shift Pattern. The Shift Pattern Settings dialog is displayed when the button Fill Calendar… is pressed.
Select shift pattern
Select the shift pattern from the Shift Pattern Name drop down list. Note, however, that the shift codes must be created before the shift pattern creation.
Give the Start and End Dates
The Start Date should be the start date of the shift calendar, usually not the first day of the year. The End Date should be the end date of the shift calendar.
Modify shift pattern
If the selected shift pattern does not match exactly the pattern needed for the shift calendar, the existing shift pattern can be modified. The shift codes for shift group and the amount of shift days in the pattern can be changed.
The changes do not change the original shift pattern.
When pattern is set, the shift calendar is filled after Fill Calendar is pressed.
If more precise allocation for shift workers is needed, the Work Plans can be used to assign certain users for the work places. Notice that the Work Plan functionality might not be available in your System.
