The Estimated Material Usage tab relates to material management. When positions are added, estimations of material usage are calculated based on those estimations. These estimations can be used when making material reservations, if a quotation leads to an order. Estimations of usage can either be based on weight, as with plate parts to be cut, or on count, as with, for example, sales of certain-sized raw material plates.
