The goal in the production process is to guide the production flow so that work is done within schedule. The SPx ENT system gathers information from the actualized production by recording information on the completion and rejection events with different Workshop modules. Real time status of the production and stock content is achieved by controlling works execution on the shop floor.
Some functions are common for all or most of the workshops:
-
Worker management - Select workers for each work place and track works history by operator names.
-
Works and production guidance - New, on-going, and completed works are monitored on the work place or work group level as work queues. Processing time is tracked. Works can be completed, rejected, paused, and interrupted when necessary. Storage locations can be set for MIP products and materials.
-
Additional information - Work instructions, drawings, and other additional information for orders, parts, material, or nestings are available in workshops.
