The production capacity of a work place is defined by the following information:
-
Work phases executed on the work place
-
Shift calendar
-
Work plan (optional)
The shift calendar defines how many work shifts there are in a given time interval and how many hours of work time a shift is.
Users can make work plans for certain time intervals to define the persons working on different work places on different shifts. By default, the capacity calculation is based solely on the shift calendar, but the defined users and the user count are also possible options. The work place settings are defined in the System Settings module.
In SPx ENT the loading is done against infinite capacity. The Work Load module presents a visual view of the capacity situation.
