Set the active plant in Drawing Manager.

Depending on the platform, follow these steps to start the utility:

The following form displays:

You can select one or many drawings. Drawings in the Drawing list pane will be processed for global validation. See Global Report Utility.

After adding the drawings to the Drawing list pane, select the checkboxes for the Item Types that you want to update in the Item Types section of the form. Also, select the Item Tag Validation checkbox in the Validation Programs section to allow item tag validation of the selected item types to be re-validated.

Select the PipeSpec Validation checkbox in the Validation Programs section to allow Piping Specification validation to be re-validated.

Select the InsulationSpec Validation checkbox in the Validation Programs section to allow Insulation Specification validation to be re-validated.

Select Enable if you want to change the plant group association for items on the selected drawing(s).

Select the new plant group for association from the list.

Validation Programs and Item Types can be selected in any combination for processing.

Select the desired options in the Options section. You can use the Include drawing stockpile and Include plant stockpile options in any combination to process the items as required.

Select OK to begin re-validating the item tags, pipe specs, insulation specs and/or PlantGroup association.

The frame at the bottom of the Smart P&ID Global Validation Utility form is used to display the update status.

After the processing is completed, the following message displays:

Select OK.
