  1. Set the active plant as desired via Drawing Manager.

  2. On the Start menu, select Intergraph Smart P&ID Support Utilities > Global Report Utility.

    The following form displays:

  3. Expand the Plant tree in the Plant hierarchy pane to display the units. Selecting a unit displays the unit’s drawing list in the Drawing pane. Selecting the Include Subnodes in ListView checkbox lists all the drawings of the selected plant group in the Drawing pane.

  4. Highlight all drawings that are to be processed and select the add (>) button.

    Selected drawings are added to the Drawing list pane.

    SHARED Tip Drawings from multiple plant groups may be added to the Drawing list pane by highlighting the plant group at a level in the hierarchy that includes other desired plant groups in the Plant hierarchy pane and selecting the add (>) button.

  5. Select reports to be generated from the Project Report & My Reports list.

  6. Select the Include drawing stockpile checkbox if you want to generate a report including items in the drawing stockpile. Select the Individual Report per Drawing checkbox if you want to generate individual reports for each drawing. You may also select the Include plant stockpile checkbox if you want to include plant stockpile items in your report. However, if you include the plant stockpile, the option to generate an individual report per drawing will not be available.

  7. Select OK to begin report generation.

    The utility confirms the reports to be generated by displaying a report name list in the Selected Reports form.

  8. Select OK to continue.

    The utility generates the reports selected from the list. When the report generation is complete, the following message displays:

  9. Select OK.

  • The default location of the reports generated by this utility is C:\Users\{username}\My Reports\Output folder.

  • The naming convention used for the reports generated by this utility is {Report Name}-{Drawing Name}.xls.
