This example applies to Equipment objects with default Duplication Option of No duplicated ItemTag allowed, where Check Child items against all Equipment items is selected.
Child Item Tag uniqueness is verified against all equipment items.

Place Diaphragm Pump (Parent) with attached Air Motor (Child) and assign a Tag Seq No of 100 and a Tag Prefix of P (Item Tag = P-100) to the pump.

Assign a Tag Seq No of 100 and a Tag Prefix of P (Item Tag = P-100) to the Air Motor. The Item Tag Validation dialog is displayed with a 'Duplicate Tag Found…' message. Duplicate Item Tags are not allowed between the parent and child items.
