In a plant that was upgraded from a version earlier than SmartPlant P&ID 2014, the new Ducting Symbology options appear at the bottom of the list and are assigned default color, width, and line pattern properties. The following procedure ensures that the new item types will receive the correct symbology properties.
-
Select Start > Programs > Smart P&ID > Options Manager.
-
Select the site and plant for which you want to update the symbology definitions.
-
Move the symbology definitions of the 3 ducting nozzle entries above the general nozzle symbology definitions.
-
Assign color, width, and line pattern properties as desired to all new ducting and room symbology definitions.
