Linking Custom Content Pages in application - Intergraph Smart Materials - 10.6 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

1. Open Administration > Manage Custom Menu URLs.

   

2. To select values from the available list of Manage Custom Menu URLs, you need to perform following steps to add values for the list.

   1. Navigate to Roles and Menus page and then select Menus.

   2. To add a new menu, select Add Row. Enter the Menu Item name.

   3. Select the Menu Type as BI_REPORT.

   4. Select the Parent Menu Item and then select Save.

      The parent item should be same as available for other custom menus.

   5. To add an Item Label, select NLS symbol and select Add Row.

   6. Select the Nls number.

   7. Select the menu name and label as you have created ad then select Save. Item Label gets added in Custom menu labels.

3. If the custom page is a hosted Apex application page, you must set BI Internal to Yes. In this case, the URL must match the format [APPLICATION_ID:PAGE_ID], for example, 901:1.

   

   • Though it may not throw an error, it is not supported to use the same Menuitem Id or the same URL more than once.

   • URLs of external links must be prefixed with ‘http://’, for example, http://www.google.com.
