Install Smart Materials Web Modules in Apex - Intergraph Smart Materials - 10.6 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

Login with the local administrator account.

Open the directory where Install_SMAT_BIR.sql is located.

Example:

C:\Program Files (x86)\INTERGRAPH\SmartMaterials BIR 2020

Open a Command Prompt window as an administrator.

Change your working directory to the above-mentioned directory.

Set the following Oracle parameter:

set ORACLE_HOME=<ORACLE_HOME>

Launch SQL*Plus.

Run the Install_SMAT_BIR.sql script.

• Enter the database connect string.

• Enter the password for the sys account.

• Enter the password for the m_sys account.

• Enter the Smart Materials Web Workspace name (default is BIR_SPMAT)(configured in Set Up a New Workspace for Smart Materials Web).

• Enter the Smart Materials Web Schema password. (configured in Set Up a New Workspace for Smart Materials Web).

• After the script has checked the version and other prerequisites, press ENTER to continue.

The procedure will end as displayed in the picture below.

The installation was successful.

Open a browser and launch Oracle Application Express. For example, enter a URL similar to the following:

http://<servername>:9090/apex

BIR_SPMAT

Click

Login to Application Express

If you log in successfully, you will see the following.

Application Builder

You should find these Smart Materials Web applications:

The applications were installed by the Smart Materials Web installation script.

Configure the DBA settings in Smart Materials (see Configure DBA Settings).
