Set Up a New Workspace for Smart Materials Web - Intergraph Smart Materials - 10.6 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

Open Workspace Administration in Apex.

Go to the web URL: http://<

servername

Enter your credentials (as defined during installation) and log in.

The Admin Dashboard for Apex Administration appears.

If you upgrade from version 7.0.7 to 7.0.8, see Install Smart Materials Web Modules in Apex.

Click

Create Workspace

Enter the workspace name BIR_SPMAT and a workspace ID (optional), and then click

Next

BIR_SPMAT is a mandatory workspace name, do not use any other workspace name.

On the next screen, do the following:

1. In case you have imported a dump of an existing Smart Materials installation containing BIR, do this:

   • Select

     Yes

     in the

     Re-use existing schema

     box.

   • Select the previously used schema from the

     Schema Name

     list.

2. Otherwise, do this:

   • Select

     No

     in the

     Re-use existing schema

     box.

   • Type

     BIR_SPMAT

     in the

     Schema Name

     box.

   • Enter the password in the

     Schema Password

     box.

   • Select

     2000

     in the

     Space Quota (MB)

     box.

• Click

  Next

  .

To create the admin account for the workspace BIR_SPMAT, type:

• the administrator username

• the administrator password

• the administrator e-mail address

• (Optionally) type the administrator

  First Name

  and

  Last Name

  values.

• Finally, click

  Next

  .

On the

Confirm Request

Create Workspace

On the result screen, click

Done
