Each PO has additional miscellaneous costs associated with it, such as freight or special fees that are not necessarily associated with the material purchased. This window displays the master list of other costs that can be attached to POs and also by a vendor to his quote. You can use this window to maintain other costs that can be attached to inquiries, quote summaries and orders. Other costs that are entered here are retained through the workflow. These other costs are later copied to the quote details and/or agreement line items.

In the Line Items page, click Attach Data> Other Costs .

Click Add Row.

Select the Other Cost from the select list.

Optionally, you can assign an account code to the other cost by selecting the Account Code from the select list.

Click Save.

The Account Code field is only available if you are not working with the accounting module; that is, the project default ZJ_USE_AC is set to N.

Select the Evaluation Cost from the dropdown list to mark this other cost as an evaluation cost.

Select Discountable from the dropdown list to mark this other cost as discountable.

Enter a percentage in the Other Cost % field.

The other cost currency appears in the Currency field. The default value of the currency is given by the value that is set for project default ZX_CURCY.

The Taxable check box indicates whether the assigned other cost is taxable.

The other cost descriptions are displayed in the Short Description and Description fields.
