Reserved nodes screen displays the results of the forecast and reservation run. Here are the following cells explained in the table below:

Particulars

Definition

Reservation Code

A unique code name which represents what the forecast does.

Run Number

A unique number identified by a code field and a sequence number within the project.

Split Result

Value of the split type.

Type

The type of the run.

Allocate Level

Defines pre-receiving level that the allocation should look for a material.

Shortage

Acceptable short quantities for allocating the BOM.

Job Status

Status of the forecast or reservation run.

Best Qty uses only Site Status

If selected Yes, only those statuses are considered which are marked as Use on Site in the Issue status screen.

BOM Path

BOM path lists the path of the current node.

Released

If yes select Yes. Otherwise, select No.

Now

Node status before the current Forecast/Reservation run.

Reason if actual nothing reserved

Indicates that the node could not be forecasted/reserved due to following reasons:

The node is already complete.

due to mandatory LP option.

Due to entered shortage option.

Due to the list positions are on a unposted MIR by BOM.

There is no material for all positions of the node.

Issue Progress

Indicates the quantity of material that has been issued for the BOM node. The values are None, Partly, Complete or Overissued.

% Issued

The percentage of issued material that is issued for the current node.

Total List QTY

Indicates the sum of all the quantities for positions under this node.

Totals Reserved Qty

Indicates the total quantity reserved for this node.

Total Issued Quantity

Indicates the total quantity issued for this node.

Actual Reserved Quantity

Indicates actual quantity reserved for this node.

Manual Reserved Quantity

Indicates the manual reserved quantity for this node.

% Shortage Weight

This enables the user to make a judgment on what is still outstanding and see if the shown Nodes could be issued to a contractor.

% Total Issued Weight

Weight of the material that has been issued for this node

Total List Weight

Indicates the the sum of all weights for positions under this node.

Total Reserved Weight

Indicates the weight which was reserved for this node.

Total Issued weight

Indicates the weight which was issued for this node.

Actual Reserved Weight

Indicates the sum of all the weights for BOM positions forecasted in this run.

Delta weight

Delta weight is calculated as:

Total Reserved Weight + Actual Reserved Weight - Total List Weight

Weight Unit

Common weight unit for position below this node.

Actual Reserved Cost

Indicates the sum of all Cost Values for BOM positions forecasted in this run.

Actual Reserved Manhours

Indicates the sum of all manhour values for BOM positions forecasted in this run. This will be calculated only if the Cost check box has been checked in the Reservation Run screen.

  1. To open the reservation nodes screen, click Home > Site > Construction Planning > Forecast Reservation Overview.

  2. Select the Forecast/Reservation Code and click Show Results.

    You can view the results for the Forecast/Reservation Runs of which Status is Reserved, Forecasted, Issued, MIR Unposted, Partly Rejected or Reserved.

  3. Select List Positions in the Included List Nodes section to display List Nodes and List Positions.

  4. Select Undo BOM Pos to undo the BOM positions.

  5. Select Current Status to show LP Status. Current Status button is enabled only for the forecast.

  6. Select Process Quantity to update the quantity. Process Quantity button is enabled when Job Status is set as Reserved.

    If the Manual Reserved Quantity is greater than zero, it creates a new entry in the Manual Material Reservation screen.

  7. Select on Positions in the List Positions section to view the Inventory Items and Property Values of the Forecast/Reservation run.

    SHARED Tip If you have selected Substitution as Yes and Approve as No in the List Positions section, only then you can delete a record in the Inventory Items section.

  8. Select Item Ships in the List Positions section to display item shipments of the idents.

    Item Ship button gets enabled to the reserved positions which contains item shipments line items.

  9. Select Requisition Line Items in the List Position section to display requisition line items.

    Requisition Line Items button gets enabled to the reserved positions which contains item shipments line items.

  10. Select Bill of Ladings in the List Positions section to display the details of the bill of ladings.

  11. Select Containers to display the list of containers.

  12. Select Undo BOM Pos to reverse the BOM position.

  13. Select Available Substitution Idents to display the available and acceptable substitution.

  14. Select Auto Substitution to automatically substitute the search for the idents.

  15. Select Related Tags to get an overview of the master tag with all related detail tags with information about the status of Tag/Split tag items.

    On selecting Related Tags, the Tag Status Overview window opens to display information about the BOM path, Ident Code, Commodity Code, Tag Number, Quantity (Total), Reserved (Quantity) and Issued (Quantity).
