A requisition buy cycle is used to group the engineering requisitions in regards to their processing time. Assigning requisitions to buy cycles helps you to easily find out all requisitions that are to be processed in a specific period, or to release all requisitions with the same buy cycle to procurement.
Each project can specify the use of the buy cycles, with the flexibility to define each buy cycle differently for each discipline.
Define a Requisition Buy Cycle

On the Home page, click Requisition and then click Requisition Buy Cycles.

Click Add Row.

Enter the name of the buy cycle in the Buy Cycle cell.

Use the date picker to select the buy cycle start date in the Start Date cell, and the end date in the End Date cell.

For the name of the requisition buy cycle, it is recommended to use an increasing numeric sequence.

The start date is mandatory and defaults to the current date.

The end date is the date when the requisition buy cycle has been closed. This is an optional field and has no default value.
