Check Idents is used to check if an ident is present in the current requisition. If the ident is missing in the requisition, the reason appears in this window. Additionally, the idents that are part of the BOM setup in the MTO job but not included in the requisitions created by the MTO job are also listed.
This button is only available for requisitions created by an MTO job, not for manually
created requisitions.

To open the Check Idents window, click Maintain Requisitions > Line Items > Check Idents.

In the Check Missing Idents for Requisition section, type the Commodity Code.

Select the Ident Code and click Check.

The Idents Missing in this Requisition section shows the idents that are missing for the current requisition. Click Check in the Reason cell to check the reason.
When you click Check, the Reason window opens. Upon closing this window, the reason is updated in the Idents Missing in this Requisition grid.

The List of Lost Idents across Requisitions section shows all the lost idents for the requisitions which are created with the same BOM set with different MTO Types. Click Check in the Reason cell to check the reason.
