You can issue only steel plate material using MIR by plates.

  1. On the Home page, click Site > Warehouse Management > Material Issuing.

  2. Click Create MIR.

  3. Select MIR by Plates from the Create MIR of Type list, and click Create.

  4. Select the MIR Type from the list.

    If you select MIR Type as Direct Issue only then Issue Type is enabled.

  5. Select an Issue Type from the list.

  6. Select the issued date of the MIR report from the Issued On calendar.

  7. Type the name of the person who has issued the MIR in the Issue By box.

  8. Select the Reservation Code from the list.

    Reservation code is mandatory only if you have selected MIR Type as Reservation Issue.

  9. Select a company code from the Company Code list.

    You can select the Site Code only if the project default ZC_BIN_LOC is set to BLOC.

  10. Select a Location, Scrap Warehouse, and Overissue Warehouse respectively.

  11. Type the descriptions of the MIR in the Short Description and Description boxes.

  12. Select Approval Template to assign a template to the MIR a template for the MIR.

  13. Select Ready for Approval, if the issue report is ready for approval.

  14. Select Best Qty uses Only Site Status to include the materials which are of the best quantity and Save.

  15. To add inventory receipt items, click Inventory Issues.

  16. Click Add Line Items.

  17. Select List Nodes(s) from the Inventory Reservations and click Fill In.

    SHARED Tip If you have selected MIR Type as BOM , Direct Issue or Reservation Issue, in the MIR for Plates tab, MIR list opens accordingly. For example: If you have selected MIR Type as BOM, BOM Node List opens.

    List Positions section shows the detailed information of the list position like List Node, BOM Path, List POs, Ident Code, List Pos Quantity, List POs Reserved Quantity, and List and POs Issued Quantity.

  18. Click Populate List Node to populate the selected nodes to the MIR. Select a List Node and click Populate List Nodes.

  19. Click Populate Plate Number to display the material in the inventory or the material which has a plate numbers.

  20. Click Heat Numbers (BOM) to view the associated heat numbers . You can also add the heat number to the existing ident in the Heat Numbers section by clicking Add Row. Enter a heat number from the Heat Number cell, quantity in the Quantity cell and Save.

    When the project default ZC_HEATQTY is set to 'Y', the following happens:

    • The total of the quantity of issued heat numbers should be equal to the total quantity of assigned heat numbers.

    • You can only select from the available list of heat numbers in the inventory and cannot add a new heat number.

  21. To attach properties to the heat numbers, click Properties and do the following:

    1. Click Add Row.

    2. Select a property group from the Groups list.

    3. Select a property from the Property list.

    4. Select a value from the Value list.

  22. Click Approval Sequence in the MIR Details tab to approve or reject an MIR.
