The following special characters used in translated prompts consume additional characters due to replacement of the special character with &xxx by the Oracle escaping function:

&"<>'/

For all prompts

  1. From the Glossaries page, select a glossary.

  2. Select a language from the Languages list.

  3. Select Show All Prompts.

  4. Click Add Row.

  5. Select a prompt from the Prompts list.

  6. Type a translated prompt, translated hint text, and translated tooltip and then click Save.

For page prompts

  1. From the Glossaries page, select a glossary.

  2. Select a language from the Languages list.

  3. Select Show Page Prompts.

  4. Select:a menu item from the Menu Items list.

  5. Select one of the following options:

    All Labels - lists all the labels related to the selected menu item.

    Defined Translations - lists labels for which the translations are defined.

    Missing Translations - lists labels for which the translations are not defined.

  6. Select a prompt type and then click Edit.

  7. Type a translated prompt, translated hint text, and translated tooltip and then click Save.
