On the Scheduled Emails tab, you can activate and configure email events. If an activated event occurs, an email is prepared using a CIP procedure from M_PCK_SCHEDULED_MAILS_CUSTOM package and sent at specified time.

From the Home page, select Administration > Global Setup > Email Setup > Scheduled Emails.

Select an Email Event and click Edit.

Select Yes in Active cell to activate this email event.

Select any of these values in the Scheduled cell:

Immediately - email is sent immediately after the event occurred
Emails are dispatched by a scheduled job which runs every five minutes. This means that the emails may be sent with a delay of up to five minutes.

Delayed by - email is sent after the event occurred, with a delay of the number of minutes defined in Minutes cell

After Reviewing - email is displayed for reviewing after the event occurred.

Before Event - email is sent x days before the event occurs, in which x is defined in Days Before cell.

If you have selected Delayed by in previous step, type the number of Minutes.
Or, if you have selected Before Event in previous step, type the number of Days Before.

Optionally, type an email address in Sent By which should be used as sender address if it's not specified (in M_PCK_SCHEDULED_MAILS_CUSTOM CIP).

Optionally, update the pre-defined Comments.

Click Save.
