Use the Free Text parameter to enter unformatted text in A.60.71 before you run the report. For example, you can display user comments for a specific run of the report.
In the Parameter window (A.30.05), enter the Parameter name, Short Description and the Description. Choose a Parameter Type System (ORACLE Reports), define the Data Type, and chose the Query Type None.
Save the changes.
