In addition to the query based parameters, the cascading list of value parameter enables you to reference other parameters defined in a report. This parameter can inserted in the query where condition by including the parameter in #. The definition is similar to the query based parameter but you should avoid the definition of a where and order by clause. This is defined later in A.30.06 for each report individually and is described in chapter Define parameters for a report.
Enter the Parameter name, Short Description and Description for the new parameter. Choose System (ORACLE Reports) as Parameter Type and the Data Type and Query Type Query.
In the Command field, enter the query for the parameter. The Query must have two columns; the second one will pass to the report. Enter the comment for the title of the list of value. Do not enter the where or order by clause.
