If the project management allows to offer an alternative item with deviating properties (for a lower price, a better delivery time, or for any other reasons), the Ident Deviation cell is enabled where you can enter the deviating item description.

Select any Quotation Details option from the menu.
The ident description is displayed in the Ident Short Description cell.

Type the description of the alternative item in the Ident Deviation cell.

Click Save.
