When should I submit a packing list?

You need to submit a packing list after assigning all the item shipments to packages.

What happens when I submit a packing list?

When you submit a packing list , the traffic coordinator can view the packages within the packing list. The traffic coordinator can then either approve or reject the packing list. If the packing list is approved, you can start physical packing. However, if the packing list is rejected, you again need to submit it after making the suggested changes.

  1. Navigate to the Header Details tab for the required packing list.

  2. Enter the Ready Date and the Collection Point for the packing list.

  3. Click Save.

    • Before you submit a packing list, ensure that all the Item shipments are assigned to packages and you have saved all the pending changes.

    • When the above conditions are met, the packing list status shows Ready to Submit.

    • After you submit a packing list, you will not be able to make any changes to the packing data for that packing list. However, you will be still able to make changes in attachments and shipping invoices.

  4. Click Submit.
