The recommended labels are the White Z-Ultimate 8000T. These labels do not have an RFID and have a very limited added value. RFID usage is recommended in a situation where the item is unique, and the quantity is 1 such as tagged equipment, valves, or spools.

For more information on the White Z-Ultimate 8000T labels, see Appendix: Links.

You must fix the label size to ensure that the size is compatible for all sizes of components.

Alternative labels

Xerafy Mercury Metal Skin label has a built in RFID chip. You can program the RFID. Each RFID of the label and Trak type have 2 codes:

  • Transponder IDentifier (TID) code - is unique and fixed and

  • a programmable Electronic Product Code (EPC) - all labels and RFID Tags have the same EPC code. You can modify the code using a special printer or RFID writer.
