You can search an item using a Barcode, Tag, or an Ident. Item Info screen provides information related to item such as Ident Name, Tag, Commodity Code, Short Description, and Source (warehouse).
From the Main Function Screen, select Item Info.
The Item Info screen looks different based on the operating platform.

On a browser - DIsplays a keyboard option

On a mobile device - Displays the following options:
- to activate the phone camera to scan barcodes.
- to activate the RFID scanner on the trigger mount.
For the item that is displayed in the Item Info screen, you can view a list of all the alias names assigned to it. Alias names are alternate names that a user can assign to an item and are easy to remember. You can assign multiple alias names to an item and also scan or search items using alias names.
The barcodes/aliases are unique to a project and can be used for just one ident in a project. You can however use the same barcode/alias in a different project.
Alias names are displayed only if the item has alias names defined.
