This chapter describes the Smart Materials MobileScan user interface elements.
Main functions
Access to the following functions is available based on your Smart Materials permissions:

The application requests information from the server in one of the following scenarios:

Case 1: Every time the user changes the settings or navigates from Settings to the Home screen. The
icon specifies that the application has made requests and is busy fetching the information.

Case 2: Every time the user navigate from a function to the Home screen. When the user taps Refresh, and if there are any pending requests, the application displays the
icon.

The numbers in brackets indicate the number of items available for this function for the signed in user.
