The standard master template is used to export a set of files to build a master catalog. The following file types belong to a master template:

  • Function Definition File

  • Catalogue File

  • Component Information File

  • Bolting File

Bolting File

The bolting file will not be created by the master export, but the entry of variable MATERIAL must be placed somewhere. It serves the same purpose as for the standard export.

Component Information File (.CIF)

The configuration of the Component Information File consists of entries of content type Data Column only.

MATERIAL-ATTRIBUTE1 to 8 are each set in column VALUE to the corresponding value from the mapping of Additional Attributes. Variables for these columns (ATTRIBUTE1 to ATTRIBUTE8 and TAB1_VALUE to TAB4_VALUE) can be used in a user-defined order.

Other lines are to be used as explained in the corresponding section of the standard template.

Function Definition File (.FDF)

The configuration of the Function Definition File is the same as for the standard template, and it consists of the following header entries. Note that the information of content type HEADER determines the data output in rows. For explanations of the lines, refer to the Function-Definition-File section of the standard template.
