When a screen is opened, a new seat is only requested from ISL, if the license module (ISL tag) differs from the seat already pulled for the current session. For performance reasons, the software avoids repeating the surrender and request cycle more often than required. This is different for BIR and ADM. The program will always try to get an ADM seat for admin screens and the menu/dashboard. For traditional BIR screens, it will try to acquire BIR.
To request a seat, the database (5) communicates with the license webservice (6) on the application server.
