The first step in troubleshooting a problem is to examine the log files to determine what problems are occurring

You can find client log files in the following directory:

C:\Users\<login_user_name>\AppData\LocalLow\Microsoft\Silverlight\is\<dir1>\<dir2>\1\s\<dir_x>\f\trace\*

If the AppData folder is not displayed, you must enable the Show hidden files, folders, and drives option as follows:

  • Click the Start button > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options.

  • Select the View tab.

  • Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives under Hidden files and folders, and click OK.

You can find server log files in the following directory:

C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\SPMATP
